Roland R. Selby, Jr. is a seasoned workforce development champion. A senior strategist and thought leader with more than 20 years of experience in both public and nonprofit sectors with Fortune 100 companies such as IBM, Citibank, and American Express. Currently, he is the Vice President for Strategic Partnerships with NPower, Inc., a leading national nonprofit in workforce development. Prior to NPower, Roland was the National Site Director for Year Up.

A Baltimore native and Morgan State University alumni. He completed the Georgetown University Nonprofit Management Executive Certificate Program in 2018 and participated in LEADERship Baltimore’s 2017 Cohort. Roland is a PMI certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.

Roland is married to Lynn Selby and they have 3 teenage children. He is an active member of the Baltimore Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., Gamma Boulé of Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity, Inc., and King David Lodge #18 of the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Maryland. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Howard E. Rollins Foundation, South Baltimore Learning Center, and American Cancer Society.
