We became the 106th chapter of The First Tee on December 20, 2002. Our legal name is the Seattle Junior Golf Foundation, and we do business as The First Tee of Greater Seattle.

We began programming for 224 kids in 2003 at Jefferson Park Golf Course in Seattle and, in 2004, we expanded to Jackson Park Golf Course, with an enrollment of 505. In 2005, we formed a partnership with the City of Bellevue to include Crossroads Par 3 Golf Course, and served a total of 676 kids.

Our annual membership now includes more than 1,500 participants at 4 golf facilities, including Riverbend Golf Complex in Kent. We also serve more than 60,000 students through Life Skills programs offered in public school physical education classes through The First Tee's National Schools Program.
