Dan Kaufman leads Product at Alex AI, the AI Recruiter that does the work recruiters don’t want to. Alex reaches candidates, screens them, interviews them, chases what’s missing, and books the next step, from a single task to the whole hiring process, around the clock, inside the applicant tracking system a team already runs. Nothing stalls, every candidate hears back, and every step is on the record, so staffing firms and hiring teams spend their time on placements and decisions instead of follow-up. Dan’s job is to hear what customers want to hand Alex next and work with the team to make it happen. Before Alex he led product at Affirm and at Disco, building the in-house teams along the way. He studied computer science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
