Brian Vesce is the co-founder and CEO of RefAssured, a provider of automated reference checking and candidate past performance insight software for the staffing industry. With more than 20 years of experience building and scaling companies that solve meaningful problems for the staffing industry, Brian has established himself as a trusted thought leader. Brian began his career as an IT recruiter at TEKsystems before starting Cypress HCM, an IT staffing firm based in San Francisco. As he helped to scale Cypress HCM, Brian became passionate about creating software to optimize staffing industry performance. This led to the founding of COMPAS Technology, a front and middle office software provider for staffing agencies. In 2018, COMPAS was acquired by Avionte and became Avionte's flagship product BOLD. In the years after, upon consulting with peers and recalling his background as a recruiter, Brian saw a critical need for an efficient way to measure talent quality. This ignited a passion for reference checking automation, purpose-built for the staffing industry, that provides immediate, tangible value, and led to the creation of RefAssured.
