Dr. Tassu Shervani, Professor Emeritus, Cox School of Business

Dr. Tassu Shervani is a Professor Emeritus at SMU’s Cox School of Business  and a leading expert on global strategy, innovation, and economic development. Through his work with senior executives across diverse industries—including technology, telecom, finance, and energy—he brings real-world insight into the forces shaping today’s global economy.

In Navigating the Global Shift, Dr. Shervani draws on his deep expertise and award-winning academic research to help business leaders understand the economic, social, and geopolitical trends redefining global trade, supply chains, demographics, and technological transformation. He has advised companies such as AT&T, EY, IBM, and Visa, and has taught executive education programs at Duke, Emory, and UT Austin.

Dr. Shervani earned his Ph.D. from the University of Southern California and his MBA from the Xavier Institute in India.
